RFID bracelets for controlling accesses and e-money functions

The widespread use of access control systems in the hospitality sector can depend on several practical and non-practical factors. Besides making hotels and holiday homes easier to manage, these solutions diversify the accommodation offering, focusing on a few aspects, such as security and convenience.

Set amidst white beaches perfect for sunbathing, coral reefs ideal for snorkelling, and tranquil corners enveloped in tropical greenery for relaxing walks, there’s a resort offering 225 accommodations, including single villas and Mauritian-style rooms. This facility needed to manage guests' access to the accommodations and the service provision through one key or tag, even with an e-money function.

The installed solution consists of 3 primary concentrators, each controlling 75 readers associated with every accommodation and an additional concentrator with a backup function. Moreover, this system comes with 2000 bracelets with RFID tags to allow the guests to access their rooms, use the facility’s services (e.g., renting parasols and bicycles, accessing the gym and wellness area) and pay in the resort’s bars and restaurants.

The support of our client in Turin allowed us to install this access control system with remote testing and service management.
