Smart lockers to manage the storage and check attendance

In Friuli-Venezia Giulia, just outside Pordenone, there's a sports club open to everyone. Here, you can engage in various activities, including tennis, five-a-side football, squash and paddle. This centre includes a relaxation area with tropical swimming pools and a massage area.

Entry to the swimming pool area requires the purchase of a single or multiple-entry ticket, whereas a subscription regulates access to the sports centre. This facility features different entrances and locker rooms, which are 4 with 1200 lockers in total. The club's management needed a system to manage access for different users.

They also wanted to track attendance and average user stay in real-time through computerised locker management to help tailor services and create custom packages based on user habits. Through our client, we supplied a system including the Leader concentrator to control the entrances of the various users, about 5000 RFID bracelets to access the centre’s areas, 10 turnstiles to delimit the various areas, and 1200 e-locks.

The use of e-locks allowed the management to control and check the centre, acquiring important data about the users’ habits.
